Blood test results

Got the results of Jake and Zoe's blood work.

Vet said it looks really good - and doesn't think there is anything to worry about! YEA!!!!!!!!!!

BUT - She did mention Jake's CRE - Creatinine - was high 1.3. Normal is 0.3 - 1.4. She followed that by saying his BUN was only 17 . Normal is 7-25. She isn't too concerned because his BUN wasn't high. Now, in July of this year I did run blood work on Jake at his annual b/c I feed him EVO. At that time, his CRE was 1.2 and his BUN was 19.

I asked about retesting and she said it wasn't necessary??? I pushed and she said maybe in 3 months if I want. I am thinking 4-6 weeks I will bring them back in. But she feels confident they are ok.

I faxed the results to our holistic vet and am having her take a look at the blood work. We are continuing to give them Milk Thistle and Nux Vomice as suggested by our holistic vet last Friday.

Anyway, last night I was in bed by 8:30 and fell right to sleep. A good nights sleep was just what I needed.
